What is the difference between digital and paper-based exams?
Both formats lead to the same Cambridge qualification and assess the same skills. The difference is mainly in the delivery, flexibility and speed of the exam process.
Digital exams are available on demand, giving schools greater flexibility to choose an exam date that suits their candidates. Registration is quick and straightforward, with results available sooner.
Paper-based exams for B2 First, C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency are available on Cambridge-scheduled exam dates. Registration follows the relevant Cambridge exam session and deadlines.
